Lightning Fires

On Midsummer's Day 2008, much of Northern California was struck by dry lightning, starting over 1,090 wildfires in the already drought-stricken super-dry brush. Although there aren't any fires burning within our immediate vicinity, we are getting smoke from fires on the Foresthill Divide and from other fires further north in the Sierra and West of Redding.
