This is the Amish blanket I bought
through Mary Coleman (?) about five years ago. It doesn't
look like much, but it is waterproof and kept the pone warm throughout our
DVE ordeal.
(It is also fairly hard-wearing.
Provo wore this blanket permanently through two winters
and it is still going strong. The white stuff on it is NickWax that my
neighbour gave me to
re-waterproof it with the day before we left on our trip <phew>.)
