I live between Auburn and Placerville,
about an hour east of Sacramento
in Central California. To get to EHSC, I took hw-50 to Mormon-Emigrant Trail
and from there, took hw-88 over Carson Pass (8573'), and down into Nevada
and the town of Gardnerville. From there, you head south on hw-395, which
follows the east side of the Sierra. hw-395 is one of my favorite roads, for
good reason. These are some of the views along the way...
