OK, another blurry photo, but
I'm setting the scene.
We've done our "Trot by"
without incident (other than stopping to remove large amounts of
grit filling my shoes from the hike down the hill) (luckily this ride is
blessed with continuous
conveniently-placed granite boulders for mounting from - I only had to mount
from the ground
once the whole ride), trotted along the dirt road next to Lower Twin Lake
(el. 7081') for a short
while, before turning up onto the ridge again for a long climb up to 8500'.
Those people in red
down there are our volunteers to direct us up the hill. Photographer Robyn
Burgess was down
there too, just behind one of the trees next to the meadow.
