Once down to the
lake, we followed the residential road alongside Upper Twin Lake.
A small lot here will set you back $225,000... makes you wish you were
really rich.
After the lake (we got
photographed one more time by Robyn who looked a bit surprised to see us...
I think we were 72nd-74th at this point), we avoided going over the ridge
again by staying down in
the valley, back in the desert scrub, along a double track that gradually
petered off to a sort-of singletrack.
I saw a garter snake and Judy got to see wicked green-horse-flies-that-bite
up close..
