So we got back to camp around 11:15, having taken since 6 am to do the first
20 mile loop. It's not like there were many places to let fly and gallop.

After an hour hold, we set out on the 30 mile, second loop (this was the loop used for the 30 mile LD). The first
obstacle was the Creek of Death - but Zini and I had practiced that the night before, so we were ready - followed by
the Hunewill Cook Out area (just don't look at the viscious picnic tables); and then the Wooden Bridge of Death, 
which was also manageable, so long as you held your breath. From there, we passed the Deer of Death 
(lurking in the undergrowth with their big teeth) and headed out towards Buckeye Canyon.

Here we've turned off the main dirt road and started to climb again. Down there, you can see three happy  LD-ers coming
in to finish their ride. We decided they must be 30 milers because they were much too cheery to be front-runner 50s.
