So when Crockett Dumas came in at the end of the 100 mile ride, he was much too hyped
to crash like a normal person, so he stayed up and welcomed later riders for another few hours.

Knowing that he'd ridden all 100 miles of the trail, I consulted with him as to which part
of the trail Provo and I should explore the following day. Crockett recommended starting on
the pink loop, and then taking a shortcut through a cow pasture, through a gate, alongside
the road, and then picking up the trail where it crossed the road. On the map, it looked like
~16 miles... Hmm, I thought, a nice easy 3 hour ride...
