To say Provo was unmotivated at this point would be an understatement. He's not used to
crossing open country like this and seems to get easily demoralised. I suspect he also
wanted a friend, so trying to coax him into trotting more that 20' at a time was a struggle.

Still, we were out there to enjoy the view, inspect the trail, and generally hang out, so
I didn't push the issue.
