Tevis Pre-ride - Robinson Flat to Foresthill / IMG_8511 5th July 2004

Still going down... shortly after this, I hopped off as well and started the scramble down.

I had intended to see if I could "run" down this canyon. Hah. It was hard work just trying to
keep your footing walking (or rather clambering and slithering over and down rocks and debris).
Even Jim, with his NATRC "no forward motion on foot" background got off and walked this section.
Couple the rough terrain with the heat (and scarily, it wasn't even that hot, and we were there
at least two or three hours before we'd get there on ride day), I was pretty overheated by
the time we got to the bottom.
