And here we are during the ride, on the first 15 mile loop.

Dennis decided to tail up this hill. The idea was that
Dorothy and I went ahead to encourage Socks, but
since we were so amazed by his stupidity at attempting
such a hill, we stood at the bottom gawping.

Socks got confused as to why we were not coming up,
and started to go off trail.

Here Dennis finally got him going in the right direction
again.
