Our truck parked outside the front gate.
Looking up the driveway towards the house (which you can't see).
This would be our "bottom paddock"
Starting up the driveway - it's gravel and steep and is the main problem -
not sure we could get the horse trailer up there in the driveway's present
state - may need a bit of asphalt/concrete at strategic points.
After turning the corner at the top, you finally see the house
and the orchard in front of it:
Looking along the top to the right of the house. The area behind
the green trees is a small lawn.
Oddly distorted picture of the house. Front door opens onto
the deck on the right. Bulging window is the "dining room"
which the kitchen looks out across. Window on left is the
living room. Bottom window is "Patrick's laboratory" (i.e.
his workshop until we get around to building him a real garage).
The left of the house - looking up the stairs to the back door and
deck outside our bedroom:
Walk down the hill a little. I'm standing in another pony paddock.
Orchard is to the right, swimming pool (and black pool cover,
stretched out in front of it) to the left.
View east from the orchard.
Looking back up towards the house from the orchard.
View from the living room/bedroom deck looking south.
Looking back down the "back stairs" from the living room/bedroom deck
Swimming pool and deck. |
Area behind the house:
"Winter pony pasture" and Patrick walking up the drive that
loops behind the house...
And loops around behind another large pad above the house
that has been cut. Visualise my round-pen on the right, Patrick's
garage/barn on the left.
Standing on the back pad, looking at the back of the house.
Motorcycle/hay shed on left?
Children's play area above the lawnlet beside the house.
Swimming pool - looking out towards the arab breeding ranch in the gap in the trees.
Sitting on the swings beside the house.
View from the deck outside the front door, looking over the orchard.
