Barefoot Saddle - Size 1 and 2 Comparison
Rough dimensions:
- Size 1 - 21" long (front to back) x 40.5" wide (bottom of flap, over seat, to bottom of flap)
- Size 2 - 23" long (front to back) x 44" wide (bottom of flap, over seat, to bottom of flap)
Size 2 (left) and Size 1 (right):
The saddles with the seat covers taken off. Note how much further forward the stirrup ring is on the size 2 (left) compared to the size 1. If you are too big for a size 1, not only does the shorter distance to the cantle push you closer to the pommel, but your legs will also be closer underneath you:
