first part of the trail, just after you turn down California Street in
Foresthill and cross Mosquito Ridge Road.
Patrick
sounds out Provo's excitability level (after having not been ridden in
weeks) and disappears down the trail.
Looking

reach "Cal-1" or "Dardanelles".

skinny single-track on the steep slope. Most of the trail looks like this.
Provo
decides that maybe this isn't such a good idea after all...Patrick gets
off and walks for a bit. It was in the high 90s.

first switchback of 15 after "Cal-2" (Peachstone).
I
believe this might have been where poor Spider and Jon Stevens fell off
the trail.
