Joshua Tree - May 2003 / IMG_5842 Patrick and Lucy

The inaccurately named "Pleasant Valley". 

I cycled from this point, across to the Hexie Mountains on the far side. It's actually
only a couple of miles, but bliminy, it was hot. Lots of little chipmunks along the way
(as well as scary deep sand sections that caught you unawares as you bombed over them).
