Indian Cove is a huge blind canyon that is backed by high vertical walls
(hence it being a popular place for climbers). It is possible to hike from here, up over the
boulders, through the "Wonderland of Rocks" and come out near Hidden Valley. It is also
possible to get chronically lost very easily and never be seen again.

A bunch of neighbouring campers set out to do this hike while they were visiting
during the weekend,  and having spent hours shuttling cars, they never actually made it
all the way through to Indian Cove. They said they hiked for about 9 hours, though.

A few weeks before we went on our trip, a man was lost in the park hiking one of the
more popular routes, approximately a mile from the road. At the time, I was confused
as to how someone could get so badly lost in such short a time . But having now visited
and seen what the place is like - it's easy. You can get turned around so easily
or slip into a crevasse, as that man did. Luckily, he was visiting with his son,
so they started a search for him very quickly and found him within a couple of days.
