The saddle comes with the front of the seat cover going up the back of the pommel. This kind
of creates a nice twist-type shape. However when I attach my sheepskin I thread the strings
through the gap under the pommel, so I have to push the seat cover through the pommel to
make it lie flat.

The gap under the pommel is big enough to get your fingers in to hold on tight,
should that be necessary <grin>.
