...and leg #2.

The chiro man who gave a talk to our club said you should do three things before you start riding:

  1. Go over their backs and butts with a massage tool/tennis ball to get the muscles loosened up

  2. Stretch and hold both front legs to a count of ten (around ten seconds, their leg grows an extra inch)

  3. Do a tail-pull on them to pull out the kinks.

So far, I'm managing to remember to do the leg stretch.
