The ranger lady told us that we could drive up to the top of the pass and see the lovely view,
so long as we were quick before the sun set. So we scrambled up a switchbacked, washboard,
dirt road with Patrick driving. The drop-offs were drop-off like, and when the truck started to
vibrate on the washboard, we'd start to crab sideways in an exciting manner. Hmm.
