New
legs - it only took two years to make these. They are for riding in, so
now I can ride in shorts (and do 50s without suffering). Most excellent. I
have yet to try them out (and no doubt then they'll get filthy grungy).
The tricky bit was figuring out how to put them together, seeing as I
made them without a pattern. ...but they're only square things with velcro,
you say to yourself? Nope, notice the detail of some of the yellow fleece
showing through, where in other places I've added binding instead. |

Two
Best- beloveds together. |
The
only sofa Chili's allowed on (in my office), so she makes the most of it. |
...so
I'm working away in my office and
I look around and see...

It
snowed and Chili (with practically no fur) shivers so, so I figured out a
temporary coat for her to wear until I get around to making her one that
actually fits. This is two shipping boots velcro-ed together. |
It
slips back somewhat, but does the trick - keeping her toasty when the
temperatures are below freezing. |
The
ice rink looking out across to the lake. |

Spikey
twigs - curley liquid amber trees next to the front deck. |

The
turkey
paddock (where I'm letting the grass grow, right?). |
The
garage masquerading as a houselet. |
From
left to right: the (broken) hot tub, the ice rink er
pool, the house, the plastic "green house" (on the deck behind
the stairs - we covered it with plastic to keep my plants from freezing -
maybe next year we'll make a permanent version out of frames and perspex),
my tarp-covered trailer, and the new white truck. |

So
much for making a nice cover out from the garage to park the 1966 Miley
trailer under... still, a tarp does the trick nicely. |
