Horse Trails

• Foresthill Divide Loop - Good trotting practice for me n' Provo. Bad practice for my knee. 
• Cool - Quarry - River - Canyon - Cool - Mouse's first trail ride in a while (thumbnail version)
• No-Hands Bridge - we wrestle with a lost shoe (thumbnail version)
• River Road (Alongside the American River) - Provo and I do our first conditioning ride of 2000
• Auburn Fairgrounds to No-Hands Bridge - well, almost, we nearly made it the whole way
• OK, so it's not strictly trails, but: "The Ponies Visit Their Future Home" - our property in the foothills
• Cool - Quarry - High Trail Short Loop. Mouse and Provo get to go out and play with Amtal
• Driver’s Flat Road to (WST) Poverty Bar and back - Provo and Lucy don't go over the edge

Mountain Bike Trails

• Foresthill Divide Loop - OK, so I actually did this ride on the horse, but in my defence, I have done half of it on my bike, once. It's just that on the horse was easier <grin>.
• River Road (Eldorado Co.) - Alongside the American River, perfect for bike/horse/hiker racing...
• Sweetwater Trail (Eldorado Co.) - The “other Salmon Falls trail”
• Salmon Falls Trail, Sacramento and Upper Pioneer Trail, Nevada City - more mountain biking (some with horse)
• Santa Rita Rd (SLO Co.) - How come Patrick keeps talking me into these vertical climbs?
• Cerro Alto (SLO Co.) - What goes up, must come down, or “How to Spend Christmas Eve”
• Santa Margarita Lake (SLO Co.) - Patrick and Lucy pedal with their legs and see a bobcat
• Stevens Trail  (Placer Co.) - a very cool trail, so long as you don't suffer from vertigo.
• Montana de Oro (SLO Co.)(Islay Creek Road and Bluff Trail), Thanksgiving weekend. Patrick and Lucy take it easy...
• Cabrillo Peaks (SLO Co.) - in which Patrick practises falling over with his clipless pedals
• Confluence - Lake Clementine Loop  (Placer Co.). Patrick and Lucy discover they can do trails that go up 1000' and not die
• Moab, Utah - mountain biking deluxe (plus other cool sights), October 1999
• Patrick and Lucy ride about on their bikes in Sacramento/Folsom Lake, California
